1st Void 1.1 Nexus Painting Challenge: Ben B's Sandrunner Lictor

The Void 1.1 Nexus Facebook group is currently running some painting challenges. One of which is a Fun Run. The rules are simple, paint and enter one mini or set of minis from the Void range of the following type: a specialist, hero, individual, vehicle, or squad. So that is pretty open and easy.

The prize was a £10 voucher for use in the Scotia Grendel webstore.

The second challenge that is currently running is the marathon painting challenge. To enter the Marathon challenge, you must paint at least two units totaling a minimum of 400 points, any forcebook or rules edition. The winner of the Marathon challenge will receive a £20 voucher from Scotia Grendel and their entry will be background image for the Void 1.1 nexus Facebook group two weeks.

The entries for the Fun Run challenge, of which there were two, were posted on the facebook group, and the members voted for their choice for winner. How very democratic.

Saving the best till last, here is the winning post, a Junkers Mounted Enforcer. A Lictor mounted on a Sandrunner. What a sweet model, and great paintjob. I especially love the detailing on the Sandrunner. Those eyes make it look particularly fearsome.

Congratulations again to Ben B for winning this round of the painting challenge. Don't forget, there is still time to enter the second Fun Run, and the deadline for this and the Marathon painting challenge is the 11th of June. So get painting, I want to see some painted Void Armies, and even more, i want to post them here for the internet to stare in wonder!
